this is a chapter of a prospective novel named autonomy. i wrote it in grade 12 as my final assignment in my creative writing class. it's heavily inspired by cyberpunk elements (see: my cyberpunk essay in the misc. section) and currently my longest piece of finished writing. i hope to eventually turn it into a screenplay! this specific chapter is NOT the first
phoenix verse

a collection of pieces i have written set in a universe created by me and a couple friends. heavily inspired by the All For The Game series by Nora Sakavic. iykyk :p the story is set at Ashburn University in an Exy team (fake sport from AFTG) starring Oliver Walsh Booth. there's sports, drama (Oliver is a Performing Arts major, talk about duality), and the yakuza, for some reason. that's basically all the backstory you need to know.
Oliver Walsh Booth is one of my original characters, as well as Max, Elena, and David Booth, but Zeki and any other background characters do not belong to me! Zeki is my wonderful friend Hannah's OC, check her out!
(also kind of a WIP as i may update the collection periodically with more pieces!)
